Linda Stein Upstander Award

The Linda Stein Upstander Award is intended to inspire publishable research that represents and promotes upstander actions for justice in all of its forms. This can be upstander actions against micro-level everyday occurrences to macro-level state sponsored injustices. Applicants conduct research using the Linda Stein Art Education Collection housed in the Eberly Family Special Collections Library at the Pennsylvania State University and the Linda Stein Art Archives at Smith College. Applicants may include:  Art Historians, Artists, Educators, Curators, Critics, 
Writers, Academics, Students and Scholars.

The Judy Chicago Art Education Award

​The Judy Chicago Art Education Award is an annual award given by Judy Chicago's non profit, Through the Flower. Honoring Judy Chicago and her pioneering work as an art educator, the award is open to scholars, educators and students creating educational projects using any of the archives included in the Judy Chicago Research Portal which provides access to Chicago's materials housed in five different institutions. Winners receive a certificate and a $5,000 prize at a ceremony in Belen, NM. The Judy Chicago Art Education Award is funded by MaryRoss Taylor.
